Question 1

Is anything baked before I order?

Accepted Answer

No. Nothing is baked until the pre-order is in. The batch is yours, not a guess at the counter.

Question 2

When can I collect?

Accepted Answer

This preview uses 20 to 24 October 2026 as the collection week for boxes, and dates from 28 October for bespoke cakes. The real calendar is still to be confirmed. Closed and full slots stay grey.

Question 3

How does a bespoke cake get booked?

Accepted Answer

You send the occasion. The baker replies by email with a quote. You pay a deposit only after you accept that quote. There is no instant deposit.

Question 4

What will I pay today?

Accepted Answer

Seasonal boxes and priced bakes are paid in full. A bespoke cake takes nothing today. The minimum for bespoke work is £150, and the deposit is agreed in the quote.

Question 5

Can I change or cancel?

Accepted Answer

You can change the order until 12:00 the day before. After that cut-off, name someone else to collect so the bake is not wasted.

Question 6

Do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

Collection is open in this preview. Delivery uses a sample postcode list and a £60 minimum, both still to be confirmed with the bakery. If your postcode is outside the sample list, you can collect, or leave a note.

Question 7

What about allergies?

Accepted Answer

Tell us every allergy in the order. The full allergen matrix is still with the bakery, and we will not invent one. Read the allergen note before you pay or send an enquiry.

Question 8

Are the photographs the finished bakes?

Accepted Answer

No. They are stand-ins for this preview. The bakery's own photographs will replace them. Names, flavours, and most prices are working figures too.

Question 9

Do you text when it is ready?

Accepted Answer

Email only, for now. We write when the order is booked, and again when it is ready to collect.

Before you order.
